Perspectives on Work magazine. Focuses on alternative forms of worker organization and voice. Articles by AFL-CIO VP Liz Shuler, Jobs with Justice’s Erin Johansson and young scholars Maite Tapia and Tashlin Lakhani. Also stories by Steve Sleigh, Eileen Appelbaum-Ruth Milkman and Richard Freeman. Books by David Weil, Richard Locke and Fred Stahl.  Also coverage of the Annual Meeting and Lisa Lynch’s presidential speech. The issue is also available online with pdf’s of individual articles.

Thanks to a grant from UAW and the Ford Motor Co., Their support made the digitizing of the past 67 years of LER research possible. The goal, says LERA executive director Eric Duchinsky, is to make LERA members’ research, discussions and expertise available both as member resource and benefits and as the basis for sound public and company-organization policymaking and best practices.
