As Human Resources Manager for Employee Relations & Engagement, you will be responsible for designing, organizing, directing, implementing and evaluating programs that result in strong employee relations and retention. You will work closely with HR leadership to formulate long- and short-term planning initiatives that support YRMC’s mission, vision and strategic objectives; provide support in the areas of performance excellence and employee relations and retention; and develop and implement HR policies, practices and objectives to ensure an employee-oriented, high-performance workplace culture.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and five years of experience in HR management; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Three years of employee relations, retention and engagement experience with demonstrated skill in group dynamics, analysis and diagnosis, intervention design and facilitation, change management and coaching
  • Thorough knowledge of workplace laws and regulations
  • Broad knowledge and experience in recruitment/retention, compensation and benefit programs, workforce planning and related HR programs
  • Demonstrated ability to implement successful process change
  • Ability to develop and deliver quality training and education for all levels of staff
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS
  • Acute care multi-hospital experience and HR certification strongly preferred
