Registration opens online on February 18, 2017. All participants and attendees must register, including speakers and discussants (chairs, panelists, presenters, speakers, discussants, etc.). Those who pre-register by the earlybird registration deadline of March 25, 2017 will receive a discount. Online registration will be open through May 22, 2017. After that, onsite registration will be offered at the LERA headquarters hotel, the Hilton Anaheim, beginning May 25, 2017. Registration will open at 7am on the opening day of the conference and at 8am on the second, third, and fourth day of the conference. Many (most!) of the meals and special events are included in the price of your registration, including breakfasts, luncheons, and the Welcome Reception.

LERA 19th PhD Student Consortium
The LERA 19th Annual PhD Student Consortium will be held in conjunction with LERA's 69th Annual Meeting, and is chaired by Tingting Zhang, University of Toronto; Federica De Stefano, Bocconi University; and Jung ook Kim, Rutgers University. The event will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, 8:15 - 11:30 am with other events continuing throughout the day. Pre-Conference Professional Development Workshops Available
On the pre-conference day, Wed., May 31, 2017, LERA will offer professional development workshops. An additional fee will cover admission, meeting costs, additional amenities, and will be added to your registration fee if you choose to attend. Workshops will begin at 8 am and conclude at Noon.
Workshop 1: Tools for Addressing Contemporary Workplace Tensions and Conflicts Facilitated by Carolyn Chalmers, Joel Cutcher-Gershenfeld, Erin Kelly, Thomas Kochan, Nancy Peace, and via skype, Mary Rowe Is your organization experiencing increased racial and gender tensions in the workplace? Have you heard or had reports of disparaging comments taking place in the workplace? This workshop will help you identify NEW ways to address workplace tensions before they escalate into potentially destructive conflicts. As just two examples, we can discuss adding an organizational ombuds office into a conflict management system, and strategies for teaching micro-affirmations as one way of preventing micro-inequities." We will focus on examples from organizations in the Twin Cities areas. Hands-on exercises illustrate how to utilize state-of-the art tools for conflict management in your workplace. Who should attend? Managers, union leaders, mediators and facilitators of organizational change and others who share an interest in and responsibility for addressing the tensions, inequities, and conflicts occurring in workplaces today.
LERA is offering educational and enjoyable tours, put together by the planning and logistics committee, in the afternoon on the pre-conference day, Wed., May 31, 2017. An additional fee is needed covering transportation, admission fees, and any additional amenities. A $30/40 charge is added on your registration fee, and is optional. Tours will depart from the hotel lobby at 3 pm and return approximately 5:30 to 6 pm.
