 Reservations cutoff date for the discounted conference rate is April 30, 2023, but please keep in mind the discounted rate is applicable before this date only until the room block fills up.

Wi-Fi in Sleeping Rooms at MotorCity
LERA has negotiated free wired and wireless internet in sleeping rooms for LERA meeting attendees.

Check-in/Out Time at MotorCity
Check-in time is 4 PM, and check-out time is 11 AM. Bell staff can arrange to check baggage for those arriving early when rooms are unavailable and for guests attending functions on departure day. Checking out later than 11 AM may result in an additional night's charge.

Early Departure Fee at MotorCity
Checking out prior to your reserved checkout date will mean that the hotel will add an early check-out fee of $50 to that guest's individual account. Guests wishing to avoid an early checkout fee should advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in the planned length of stay. The hotel should inform group attendees of this potential charge upon check-in.

Individual Guests Deposits/Confirmation/Cancellation at MotorCity
To confirm a sleeping room with the LERA room block, reservations must be secured with a valid credit card provided by the guest, but it will not be charged until your stay. At the time of check in your card will be charged your room nights plus incidentals ($50 per person per night), unused deposits will be refunded upon departure. Cancellation without penalty is up to 48 hours in advance of your booked stay.

Overflow Room Block at Greektown is open!!

We have secured a second room block at the Greektown Casino-Hotel, as our first room block sold out earlier than expected. The Greektown Casino-Hotel, also a Fair Hotel property, is located at 1200 St. Antoine, Detroit, MI 48226.

Our room block at Greektown is priced at $179 per night for a single occupant. We recommend that you get your room right away as all downtown hotels are expected to sell out due to the Detroit Grand Prix taking place June 1-3, 2023. Our room rate will be available through May 22, or until rooms are gone. When you check in, the hotel will charge your credit card a deposit of $100 which will be returned to if there are no additional charges on your room. 

We have arranged for shuttle transportation between these two hotel properties on Thursday through Sunday, June 1-4, 2023. Please see the shuttle schedule below for your planning purposes.
