Description: What you'll be doing

CIMPAR, is recruiting a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team in Oak Park, IL. (Internally titled: Human Resources Specialist) 

You will join a 50 person organization that is growing exponentially. Bring your human resources expertise and establish an internal HR structure that aligns with the growth and business goals of CIMPAR. You will own the talent strategy, HRIS implementation, and be a strategic thought partner to senior leadership on all human resource needs.

What you will be doing: 

Reporting to the Chief Operating and Financial Officer, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will lead the development and growth of the HR program and will provide general human resource assistance to the Corporate HR departmentThe HRBP will be a strategic partner in talent operations and the employee experience as well as provide oversight of the HR information systems, compensation, employee relations, new hire orientation, training, benefits and/or personnel record management. The HRBP applies corporate HR policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with company policy and federal and state laws. The HRBP will manage and assist hiring managers through the recruiting and onboarding process for exempt and non-exempt personnel, as well as manage and investigate harassment claims, discrimination claims, and employee disputes discreetly and with confidentiality. This is a great position to grow alongside an organization!

Salary and Benefits: 

The expected hiring range is: $75,000 ‒ $90,000

How you will spend your time: 

  • Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; assists with preparation and maintenance of employee handbook, policies, and procedures. 
  • Perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees. 
  • Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing. 
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. 
  • Review and make recommendations to executive management for improvement of organizational policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters. Communicates changes to any policies or procedures.  
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation; ensure organizational compliance. 
  • Maintain responsibility for compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to personnel matters and employment.  
  • Assist executive management in the review, preparation, and administration of wage and salary programs. 
  • Recommend, evaluate, and participate in staff development and employee engagement initiatives. 
  • Identify improvement opportunities to align human resources with the organization’s strategic objectives. 
  • Develop and maintain a human resource information system (HRIS) that meets organizational needs. 
  • Develop and maintain payroll using a payroll software. 
  • Ability to implement new HR software. 

The experience you will bring:   

  • 3–5-years HR experience, preferably in the healthcare setting. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required; human resources specialty is preferred. 
  • Self starer can work with limited resources. 
  • 1-2 years experience in running payroll.
