About the Job

Oversees all labor relations, ensuring compliance with the collective bargaining agreement. Participates in employee investigations, discipline, and responds to and settles grievances.

  • Acts as the liaison between management and employees on labor matters.

  • Addresses and resolves labor disputes, grievances, and concerns.

  • Oversees investigations involving union hourly employees.

  • Collaborates with leaders on administration of discipline.

  • Oversees the separation process for hourly personnel.

  • Prepares for, attends, and leads all recurring labor relations meetings.

  • Manages all information and documents in preparation for arbitrations.

  • Coordinates job evaluation process for union positions.

  • Provides support and participates in contract negotiations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in labor practices and employee relations.
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office suite of products. Working knowledge of Human Capital Management System (HCM) and payroll systems is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • The ability to work with all levels of people within the organization.
  • Strong judgment skills with the ability to prepare action plans to achieve results.
  • Time management.
