Ford Motor Company Cleveland Engine Plant Tour

Registration for this event has closed (Full)

This tour will include a behind the scenes look at the Ford Motor Company Cleveland engine plant, as well as discussions about incorporating technology into training and the introduction of new equipment. A trolly will leave the Cleveland Westin at 1pm and return back by 4:30pm. Closed toed shoes are required.

Join us at Progressive Field to cheer on the Cleveland Indians!

Baseball Game (Indians V.S. Reds), first pitch 1:10 pm. Tickets in the LERA block are $43 and our seating is in section 316 and 311. Come network with other LERA members and enjoy Progressive Field and the Cleveland Indians.

After the game, Nicky Schmidt, VP of Brand, Strategy and Analytics for the Cleveland Indians, will give a presentation to the group on "Integrating Data Analytics into Business Operations" with time allowed for Q&A with dinner in the ballpark in the Heavy Hitters meeting room which can be accessed through the Cleveland Indians executive offices located at 2401 Ontario Street, Cleveland, OH (from just outside the ballpark).

LERA Welcome Reception on Goodtime III Charter
We encourage everyone to attend the LERA Welcome Reception which will take place on the Goodtime III Charter on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. Transportation from hotel will begin at 6pm and you should arrive back at the hotel by 10pm. This event has been sponsored by The Martin and Laurie Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution, The School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University; Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions; and UAW/Ford. You can take advantage of this special event for only $45, which covers your transportation to and from the charter, admission on the charter vessel (only available for private charter), and hors d'oeuvres. A trolly will leave the Cleveland Westin at 6pm and circle until 6:30pm.

A night out at the comedy club!
 Hilarities logo Join us for a fun and entertaining evening out at the Hilarities comedy club at the Pickwick and Frolic. Jeff Allen will be performing. Hilarities 4th Street Theatre is one of the largest made-for-comedy venues in the country, presenting the best in national stand-up comedy. Your $40 ticket includes transportation and entrance to the club. Blue Cross Blue Shield has sponsored the event and will be providing food at the show. A trolly will leave the Cleveland Westin at 6:30 pm and return back after the show (which should be before 10 pm).
